Every week John deals with topical issues in depth.

Most are live studio interviews with people in the region who either make the news or are responsible for making decisions that affect everyone.

His programme has dealt with planning issues, the economy, government cuts, the environment, business, crime and policing, social service issues plus interviews with stars of stage screen and radio.

In addition to dealing with matters of interest to residents and listeners in the region, each month, John has regular features which include gardening expert, Martin Finney, Economist, Professor Jane Hardy, Newspaper editor Matt Adams, Top beauty therapist Samantha Murphy, together with a host of interesting guests from the fields of entertainment, politics and local personalities.

Each month Jean-Marc Fouché and Jan Skyrme-Jones are live from Paris to provide an update on what is exercising the French across the channel.
